Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Account: email address and a bcrypt password hash, or your Google account ID and email if you sign in with Google.
- Device: TV device ID (DUID), MAC address, model and last-seen time — used for pairing and license checks.
- Playlist details: the server URL, username and password or M3U URL you enter. They are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM and are only sent to your own paired TV.
- Library sync: favorites, watch history and resume positions, if you are signed in.
We do not log what you watch on our servers and do not sell personal data. The website and the Smart TV app use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Android app: ads and subscriptions
- Ads: the free Android app shows ads from Google AdMob. Google may use your device's advertising ID, IP address and app interaction data to serve and measure ads. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland we ask for consent first (Google consent message); you can change your choice anytime in Settings → Privacy & Ad Choices, and reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings. Premium subscribers get no ads and no ad requests are made.
- Subscriptions: purchases go through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment; we only see the purchase status needed to unlock Premium, never your card details.
- What you watch and your playlist details are never shared with Google or advertisers.
How we use it
Only to provide the service: pairing your TV, delivering your own playlist settings to it, checking the license, syncing your library and answering support requests.
Processors
- Hetzner (Germany) — server hosting
- Cloudflare — network security and delivery
- Google — optional sign-in
- Google AdMob — ads in the free Android app (how Google uses data)
- Google Play — Android subscription payments
Retention and your rights
Data is kept while your account or device is in use. You can wipe your playlist details or delete your account and all data instantly from the web portal, or email us. You can request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time (GDPR / KVKK).
Storage on your device
The website stores your login session in your browser's local storage. Google Sign-In may set its own cookies. The apps store your settings, playlist and library locally on the device.
